Informative & Funny

I have never been to Texas but now I want to go even more after listening to this book. I already have San Antonio set in my 2023 travel plans so looking forward to the fun. I think the narrator nailed it on this book the voice fits what I would imagine and it made the puns all the more better!

I recently listened to this book, and it was an absolute delight. Packed with exciting stories and hilarious anecdotes, this book took me on a virtual journey through the Lone Star State like never before.

One of the stories that really stood out to me was about a quirky road trip to Marfa, Texas. The author's humorous description of the unusual art installations and the unexpected encounters with locals had me laughing out loud. It reminded me of a road trip I took with my friends a few years ago, where we stumbled upon a bizarre roadside attraction and couldn't stop chuckling about it for days.

The narrator's engaging voice made me feel like I was right there, experiencing each adventure firsthand.

Great Travel List for a Texas Adventure!

Super funny book! Great list of stuff that seems like a blast to do in Texas! Texas is now the top of my travel list and should be easy to plan a trip with this book handy! Great audiobook for anyone looking to travel in the States!

Excellent Book

This is a really great audiobook filled with lots of great content, humor and a fascinating look at Texas. And great narration too! We listened to it as a family and everyone had a good laugh, as well as a burning desire to have our next vacation in Texas. This is one audiobook to definitely add to your listening list. Highly recommend!

Fun and informative

Not just another boring travel guide. I like how this one incorporates humor. That makes it fun to listen to on the car ride with the kids. This way we get a bit more family interaction on our family trip rather than them sitting in seclusion with their headphones in the whole ride.

Loved it

As a former Texas resident and the wife of a true one, this was hilarious to me! Even with the jokes, I learned some things about San Antonio that I didn't get to experience while living there. We're planning an extended vacation there (Austin) in February. Hopefully, we'll get to check out a few spots.
