The nine Little House books have been cherished by generations of readers and listeners as both a unique glimpse into America's frontier past and a heartwarming, unforgettable story.

I would totally recommend this for a young kids. It’s a great series. I love the way it’s written, and the narrator is awesome. I also love who played Pa’s fiddle in the last book.

Always good
This book is a bit darker than the other books in the series but life isn't always rainbows. This is my favorite of the series. It seems to reflect the gritty reality of Laura and Manly's tribulations.

Ending on a sad note

bittersweet
I really enjoyed listening to this sereies and was very sad to have it end. Laura and her family lived through some very hard time but always remained positive.
