Incredible!
I'd give this author, story, and narrator 10 stars if I could. This a brutal story. An incredibly moving story. The magic system is very unique and the characters are very human. Evil is not completely evil and good is never completely good. Highly recommend this book!

AMAZING!!!!!
I'm a huge Brandon Sanderson fan and was looking for something to fill the gap until the next Stormlight Archive book is released and this did not disappoint. I liked Book 1, The Rage of Dragons okay but felt it was mostly one long battle, I'm so glad I stuck it out (I would listen to Prentice Onayemi read a dictionary). This book made up for everything Book 1 did not have room for. I can't wait for Book 3.
The Burning series fills a bigger gap than just the one between Brandon Sanderson's release dates!
