The universe is not a very nice neighborhood.
The strong races rule the galaxy, doing as they please. The weak are enslaved or driven from their homeworlds or simply exterminated by the ruling powers. The Solar Union's only hope of survival is to master GalTech and improve upon it before the Galactics realize the human race is no longer trapped on a primitive world, at the mercy of any spacefaring race who stumbles across it. But GalTech keeps its secrets close, and time is not on humanity's side.
But there is one hope. On a primitive world, enslaved by a far more advanced race, there is a research lab with the keys to galactic technology, offering the promise of unlocking everything if they can be captured and returned to Sol. I like the storyline, but I could do without the repetition
I get it. The author thinks the world is a mess and every established institution sucks.
Name some me in that position
But I don’t need to hear it 47 times while he’s relating the story
I like the premise of the books
I like the stories
I think the narrator is top-notch
I hope you write more. I just go easy on the morality lessons.

Boring
I’m tired of just hearing about the environment the buildings, a bunch of political set up… There’s no excitement and nothing to tie me into continuing to listen to the book
