Noir supernatural style
I have read and enjoyed all of Stuart Jaffe’s books. This was the first audible version I have heard and having it narrated by the author was excellent! Matched exactly the tone, feeling I was getting from reading the books. Which confirmed I will definitely be coming back for more. I was excited to finally hear from Marshall as I knew he has to have a lot to tell. This is one small glimpse into his story, one case. InI the books Jaffe does an amazing job of setting the scenes, weaving in local history and painting the picture so you feel you are transported back a little in time and right there along for the ride. Hoping he narrates more of his books, will be interesting to see how that comes though in audio. Highly recommend this author!

I loved this story. Mr. Jaffe is great narrator.
His books are not just read he does voices with different tones of the carctors. story lines are great not hard to fallow and keep you interested. love all his books! If you like mystery and magic I'm sure you will find all his books interesting. 5 stars.
