Scope of the story, number of books, and most of the characters.
I despise Cameron. The character is so negative and filled with contempt for the Captain that it's a turn off. I served in significant leadership positions in the military and although I encouraged a team leadership style with open communication, I would have sideline someone like Cameron by this point as her lack of vision, creativity, negativity, and feet dragging would have canceled out any contribution she could make. I would easily be able to find a replacement who could contribute the skills she offers while gaining someone who could also be more forward thinking and team oriented. She is like an anchor to any proactive leadership group.

Phenomenal storyline and books
These books were outstanding. I highly encourage you to get all the books associated to the Expanse. The best parts were the final chapters that were missed in the TV series. You will not be disappointed. If they would have allowed me to give it 10 Stars I would have given it 11.
