Excellent conclusion to this series.
This fourth book in the Dragon Seed series was not only filled with action, loss, deception, and betrayal but the background for what befalls Skallagrim’s children on Tower Island. Again, Resa takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride of emotions just as intense as in The Dragonslayer’s curse. To call this the exciting conclusion to the series is a bit of an understatement, my level of engagement with this story was past excitement, more like an addict needing the next fix. After listening to the second book in this erase I sat down and binged listening to books three and four the same day. While I will admit to ignoring several things as I listened, I wasn’t willing to let anything interrupt my listening and enjoyment of this book and its two predecessors. Of course, my listening enjoyment was further aided by Resa’s narration of her story and her ability to bring each character to life through their voices and attitudes.
