excellent story
Absolutely loved this story! Much more serious and mature than other Avatar stories. Narration was wonderful and I am really looking forward to listening to the second book in this series.

The prequel I didn’t know I needed
First 20 min I was a little overloaded by too many characters, but once I got a footing I couldn’t stop listening.
What an amazing journey read by a wonderful narrator to bring a story back to life!

The story immediately pulls you back into the familiar world of the avatar, and the narrator's performance is exceptional at getting across the emotion of the moments, with just enough changes in tone to recognize who's speaking in the story

Amazing Simply Amazing
This book captures the spirit of avatar in the last airbender perfectly. The story perfect, the delivery perfect, this is a masterpiece to be sure.
This has all the elements of the original show plus additions ( desires) that I am sure all of us had while watching the original.
This is EASILY a must read for anyone who watched and enjoyed the original show. I cannot wait to see how the universe is further expanded with these novels!

Holy Cow!
Honestly I wasn't sure I would like this since I didn't really think Kyoshi's cult was that interesting in the show. My mind has been changed. It's paced and narrated well and makes you want to know what happens next. I'm about to start the second book.

Perfect
This is such a brilliantly narrated story of the great Kyoshi.
Readers of all ages, will feel every thrill packed moment, and every heart wrenching ache as they are carried through the Earth Kingdom.
Nancy Wu is an excellent narrator, her voice and pace carry you through the story as if you were there.
