Along the way, Venir faces threats from the Royal Houses of Bone, man-urchins, shadow sentries, and two dark figures that he'd left for dead once before.

Finally, though, Venir leaves Bone behind, only to run into Jarla, Queen of the Brigands - an old flame who wants him dead. And soon after that, the real horror begins, as Catten and Verbard emerge and unleash their worst in the hopes of finally killing the Darkslayer.

The mighty Venir soon finds himself in a fight that might just be more than even the Darkslayer can handle.

Epic Storytelling

Every time I log on to audible I can't but look up Craig Halloran too see if he's made available any more Darkslayer books. Enough said.. do yourself a favor and use that 1 credit on this book.

Listen! Such a great tale! I think the only thing that bugs me,nis the chapter breakdowns, other than that it's a fantastic listen and I am already on book 3.

Darkslayer, the Epic Adventure

This book is Mr. Halloran's second book in the Dark Slayer series, and if you are anything like me, you will be very anxious about the arrival of his next audiobook in this series.

This series is a little different from Halloran's other books, being that it is clear that this book is his passion when he writes. The other books are all good, but this one he excels at. It is clear that he has a lot of fun writing the Dark Slayer books.

This book is a little darker than his other work, and I would definitely advise it to a little bit of an older audience, though young adults should be fine.

The narrator still is a little grating, but he does grow on you!
