Narration

The story was enjoyable but the voices were horrible. It could have a really good audible with a person narrating who would use inflections. Came across very flat and the woman very boring.

This man is a monk..

Add a little more romance and actually have it read by people and it would be great.

Sweet, Gentle Story

It was relaxing and refreshing. { especially liked a love story without "steam.* It had good character development.

Virtual voice is lacking

I like the overall story. The virtual voice is just no substitute for a human being who can convey emotions through speech.

audio ruined book for me

I might have enjoyed this story, but the computer audio is of terrible quality. Even if an actor is out of the budget, a better artificial voice is needed

Story Line OK but….

The basic story was sweet but I found it annoying to hear the same phrases repeated over and over without variation. The lead female character seemed weak and pessimistic based on her thought progression. Based on her supposed life experiences it didn’t fit. I am definitely not a fan of virtual voice narration either. I always hesitate to listen to those stories and could have skipped this one and not felt like I missed anything.

Disappointing overall

I’ve skipped this set a couple of times because of the AI voice “acting”. But I had time and wanted to give the story a chance. It was okay at best, which was partly affected by glitches of skipping or repeating of dialogue and the total lack of character differences from the AI voice. I usually like the sweet, rom-com tone of Cozy stories but the story was trying so hard to be innocent it was boring and bland.
I suggest better editing and pay a real live human to voice the next story.
