Great story and performance.

Another wonderful addition to Gabriel Alon triumphs. Great story where one wonders till the end what’s the truth and what’s fiction.

Eventually, It Rocks

The first act of The Collector led me to think that our favorite Israeli spy had retired. Silva, I concluded, was transitioning Alon 100% to his beloved art world. I was even thinking that maybe it was time for Silva to truly retire him. Then things took a turn, and then another. Before I knew it Gabriel Alon was once again saving the world. Fantastic book. And Edoardo Ballerini does his usual magnificent job as the voice of Alon - and all the other characters. He’s perfect for this series.

Once again, both author and narrator never fail.

Silva's latest is excellent as always. Gabriel never seems to catch a break, and a hunt for a stolen painting is no exception. The narrator, who's name I have trouble spelling, is very good with different accents and voice inflections. Many are critical of Silva for putting recent events into his novels, but, I am not.

One of Silva’s best

The story moves through references to other books and real world events while we see familiar characters from the past take on new challenges. A great story!

Wonderful read

I have read every book that Daniel Silva has written. He is my favorite living fiction writer. He has a wonderful writing ability and this book is as good as any that he has written. A thoroughly unputdownable read.

Once again Daniel Silva has written a book that I couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Silva At His Best - Treat Yourself!

I have read (listened to) all of the Gabriel Allon series - always a high point of the summer when the next one comes out. If you have never read (heard) him, you are in for a treat. Start at the beginning and enjoy the ride. If you are an Allon veteran, rest assured that although our man has eased into retirement, our dangerous world will find a way to drag him back into service. This one is beautifully crafted and wonderfully narrated by a master of the craft - Edoardo Ballerini. I'm sure the book is fine on the written page, but I urge you to treat yourself instead to the incomparable performance by Ballerini. You won't regret it.

Does Silva keep getting better or what?

This is another great book. Every thing about it was great. Just wish we had more of them.

Allon is back

Like seeing an old friend or friends, another great addition to the series - I enjoyed ‘The Collector’ very much, bravo!

Silva never fails to deliver

The Collector is another great novel by Daniel Silva. Held my interest from opening murder until to the final murder. I shall return.
