The Vatican and beyond.

Daniel Silva once again left me intrigued to the very end. He also veers away from the Middle East and focuses his tale mostly in the Italian region.

What a reunion!

Loved the story, but especially the skill used in bringing in all the former characters. This was a beautifully written story.

These are great novels with outstanding plots, characters and narration! Gabriel Allen is the greatest protagonist of all time!

stands alone and focuses on art and crime

I like that it didn't go into middle east issues or terrorism. I had given up on the series but glad I gave this one a try.

What You’d Expect—in a Good Way

I just finished An Inside Job by Daniel Silva and gave it 4 stars. As always, Silva delivers a consistent, well-paced story. It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect from him—reliable, engaging, and satisfying.

Daniel Silva’s books are a pleasure I wait for, every summer, and I’m never disappointed! I generally read his books but being on a trip, I missed publication day and got the book on Audible. Edoardo Ballerini does a wonderful job narrating, and he brings AN INSIDE JOB to life, beautifully! Gabriel Allon, my favorite action/spy/art restorer/father of twins hero, discovers the corpse of an unknown woman in one of Venice’s (Italy) canals, which takes him, and us, to a fascinating journey into the corrupt side of the art world, an the Vatican. I loved listening to this book! And when I get home, I’ll read the hardcover that’s waiting for me. Yes, what can I say? I’m a big fan!
