The Mystic from the Midwest

I very much appreciate how Carolyn relates her struggles, not putting herself above the student. I have moved deeper into my spiritual walk from her teaching and sharing. Her voice reminds me of a Midwest Mom, which makes her even more unique in “spiritual circles.”
Her deep insights, her kindness and her no “foo foo” nonsense approach to spiritual practice is refreshing. While sometimes hard to hear, her honesty in delivering the message of truth is no less than life changing. That’s why she is my Midwest Mystic. I would really love to meet her.

The timing of finding this.

A few times, while listening (only in Chapter 1), I heard the truth for me and what I’m going through. I said outloud, alone in the kitchen, I love this woman! That was great for it’s implications. I’d never heard myself say that. I’m very grateful.

Extremely Helpful, Especially for Healing

Interesting, insightful stories. Very good advice. For example, tje reasons why we get sick and why some people age faster can have a great deal to do with your spirtual, internal health.

Love Carolyn but distracting sound design

Carolyn is a genius goddess but HELLO to the producers - why would you add a dirge like, forboding score underneath her meditations. Totally ruined them. BUT the book is still well worth it.
