I love Caroline and everything she has to offer, but her frequent bitching, humiliating, and screaming at us listeners of late has gotten out of hand. "Go put your head in the toilet ...." Really?! Walk the talk, lady! I don't think you are making the point you think you are...

Caroline's explanations are transformative!

My understanding of archetypes and patterns would not be where it is without the teachings and style of Caroline Myss. She is a magnificent teacher; and I'm so grateful having discovered her on HayHouse Radio long ago. Thank You Caroline for your treasured gifts and teachings.

Honestly I was surprised when it ended because I wanted more. I believe this is something I will listen to over and over again. Really great insight!

Just a Recap - Nothing New

This book is just a rehash of Caroline's older work in archetypes. It's nice, but there's nothing new in this book and it's not even that detailed. If you really want to delve into all the archetypes you should get the Language of Archetypes. It's much more detailed in its descriptions and it covers all the bases. And if you're interested in how to use archetypes to help you find your path in life, you should go for Sacred Contracts rather than this book.

PHENOMENAL

This audio workshop is PHENOMENAL. Yes it’s not the book read word for word but the value in this is unbelievable. Absolutely worth the purchase

Archetypes

The only reason I gave it 3 stars it's because it was informative. Listening to the author was painful, like nails on a chalkboard painful. I recommend reading the book if you want to get the most out of this information..

Unexpected

Not exactly what I had thought, but that was my bad. Expected a book reading...maybe a little more concise and smooth but because it sounded like a live audience there was a little more “off the cuff” dialogue and not quite as easy for me to follow.

Ranking this higher than I initially thought I would

I have a recent infatuation with archetypes from entry-level research on Carl Jung. I bought this book without barely reading the description. Intriguing at first, but then odd and quirky. I began to question the integrity of the content, thinking that I might have stumbled into some sort of astrology based mysticism. As it turns out, it may have been every bit of that but Caroline Myss’ warm nature made the journey a welcoming one. Some of her philosophy’s seem very personal and disagreeable and the book holds much that is simply master of opinion. Yet many fascinating insightful strokes painted with a very broad brush are sure to appeal to everyone. Her humor delightfully interjected at the perfect timing to remind us that we share a collective consciousness and are the embodiment of the stories we tell. We are cosmic theory in physical manifestation. We are patterns of power and Caroline reminds us just how special yet mundane that can be.

Soul Food

Watch out! This soul food's a little spicy. Can you take the heat? (Can you feel the truth?) If not, you might wanna get out of Myss's alchemical kitchen.
