Worth it
It’s a strong story with compelling protagonists. The antagonists are a bit one dimensional but that’s a preference bit. The author builds a great visual story and the narrator captures Jude’s tone with every syllable. This is becoming a favorite series.

SERIES IS A MUST READ
I have been struggling to find a series I love since I read all of the darkest minds books. I love Detective Jude Fontaine! I highly recommend reading this series.
I cannot wait until book 3 coming this summer!!

Good book, great reader.
I’m enjoying this series, Jude Fontaine is an interesting heroine. The stories are well written, and I make it a point to look for books that are read by Emily Sutton-Smith. She’s among my favorite readers.

on your toes
It kept my attention through out the book, wondering who did it. The main character Jude was cold yet you felt her pain for the reason she is cold. Good book, glad I read it.

A great read or listen.
This is the second one in a serious and it’s about a set of brutal murders. The storyline is excellent and the detective is interesting and surprising. I love this series. Listen to the first one first so u understand all the characters in the book.

This did not disappoint
Anne Frasier...why did i never know about you before? this was a great story and the narration was fantastic as well. The characters are well developed and compelling. I highly recommend and look forward to the next installment.
