"For many years, I have wanted to write a book that focuses on the main theme in the Bible, which is the story of the whole redemptive plan of God in history that includes us. There are many awesome things in the Bible, and they are all related, either directly or indirectly, to that redemptive theme, but I wanted to strip it right down and focus on that central theme in a simple, yet powerful way that connected all of the main dots. My ultimate goal would be that when someone is finished reading this book they could say, 'I know what the Bible is about. I know what God has done for me, and what His plan is for me.' And so, here it is." (Pastor Doug Bergsma)
Join Pastor Doug as he addresses and answers tough questions that each of us have asked at some point. Questions like:
- If God knows everything, including the future and what would happen, why would he allow such terrible things to occur?
- Why did God have to give his only son to die a cruel death? Couldn’t he have fixed things some other way?
