The Beginner's American History was intended by the author as an introduction to basic American history; it aims to provide the facts to those beginning the study of US history. Starting with Columbus, the book concludes with the chapter titled “Since the Civil War”. The author took care to state only those facts that are backed by authority. Thorough and well-researched, the work is a compact yet insightful text on the cultural, social and scientific developments as well as the events, incidents and politics that shaped the United States.

Terrible Performance
I hoped to find a recording of this book that we are using in our history curriculum. The performance was so terrible that we couldn't even make it through a minute of the book. It was clearly done by AI, not a real person and sounds like Siri is reading the book to you. Terrible. I wish I hadn't wasted my credit on it.
