This is my second time reading this book and my first time listening. And wow, just wow! The emotions are all over! Sophie and Tim makes me feel everything in here. I love Jules and Trevor so much!! I love their One Week Stand!!! So so great! All the twist and turns. It’s really really good. We can know Preston and Loki a little bit more. Dex and Lanie still being an amazing couple.

Why did I wait so long to start this series?! I have finished the first two books in 3 days and am loving them. The narrators are amazing and bring these characters to life.

Stole my heart

This was not what I was expecting but I loved it. I honestly would recommend you to read book 1 even if they are interconnected standalones, I think it would benefit the reader immensely to start with book 1. You do get a recap and some similar scenes that we've seen in book 1 but it's only to make everything tie together and to get a better understanding. For me I loved the parallel between both as you got Lanie & Dex's side in Cross My Heart and now you got Julia & Dex's side in Beat Of My Heart.

This was darker than what I was expecting from Avery and I adored it, IFYKYK I love romantic suspense and this brought me the swoon and the thrill. I adored Julia & Trevor together they were so perfect together. The way he was able to bring her back from her rants and calm her was so amazing. He was so patient and understanding towards her. Julia was hilarious with her inner monologues and her chaos, I loved her so much.

The ending was great. I loved how everything between both MC's tied together, but I am so anxious to jump into the next one right now to know the fate of the others after the events.

I honestly am obsessed with Avery, as a person & as a writer. Her stories are simply beautifully crafted and you can't help but fall in love with her characters.

I listened to this one, and the narrators killed it ! They did a fantastic job with playing both characters and expressing their emotions. It's a great book to listen to.

There are so many things I love in The Neat Of My Heart. Trevor is truly a gentle soul, what starts as a one night stand ends up being the best thing that happened to Julia without Trevor. These two have so much to work through, the love they shared helps bring them together. This story is deep and interesting, I love it.

What a ride in this one with all that happens, laughter, tears and some angst but oh so worth the listen
