the prequel has me hooked

A good start

Ok, what was this? A teaser for a full book?? It was off to a great start and abruptly ends.

I loved this prequel to the Tracie Crosswhite series. This explains a few things in the series.

I would recommend this book and series.

This short story is a prequel to the "Tracy Crosswhite" series that shows the determination and fortitude in one woman’s story to serve a higher purpose and to overcome in a male dominated work environment. I listened to it in about an hour and found myself rooting for the two women in the story.

Great Series

i listen to the series backwards and it was easy to follow, Performance outstanding in sync with the character.

Dissapointingly Short

The story line barely began, when it was over.
The narrator tends to be monotone and slooow.

Great Novella!

Loved listening to the story of how Jenny and Tracy met and got insight into her relationship with Nolasco.

Fast paced

Wonderful writing. short into the point. Gives good background on the beginning of Tracey Crosswhite. 

Short But Good

What would motivate a high school chemistry teacher to become a homicide detective?

The Academy, an exciting prequel to Robert Dugoni's book, My Sister's Grave, answers that question. My Sister's Grave is a series featuring Tracy Crosswhite. All the books in the series are great. The Academy, Tracy must overcome the obstacles placed in her path to become a police officer.

Robert Dugoni has created a strong and intelligent female protagonist I hope to see more of in the future.

Emily Sutton-Smith was outstanding with the delivery of the story.

Solid short prequel to the series

Recommend this quick prequel to the series. I read the first two of the series then found this and found it entertaining.
