A Stellar Investing Guide for Beginners

If you could only listen to one investing audiobook, or learn from any investment resource for that matter, this should definitely be it. "The 8-Step Beginner’s Guide to Value Investing" is expansive and it is dense with up-to-date and practical information. The writing style and narration make it easy to understand and keep it from getting dull. After listening to it, I see how I've been tripping myself up all this time by going from one hot stock to another, and reactively jumping ship at the first sign of trouble, when I should've instead taken my time and stuck to my guns, regardless of fluctuations or emotions. And yes, it absolutely delivers on its promise of telling you exactly what the 20 best assets to invest in are.

The 8 step beginner’s guide to value investing is spread-out guide and it is a dense with up-to-date and practical information, this book is perfectly excellent and it incredibly entails what the 20 best assets to invest in are. The author of this book sheds hints on each step for the beginner and explains the whole process. I like the way investing is approached through this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is unsure about investing and needs more information.

This book is so clear and chalked full of information. I love it!!! Not like most books with generalities that don’t really help.

Very Informative and Helpful

I bought this audiobook to learn a thing or two. And I did. And it also reinforced some of the habits I have learned the hard way. Research, don't buy junk, research, stick to things you know about, and don't sell. For snicks and grins I went ahead and fake bought all the stocks in the book with a 13K equal weighted portfolio, bought all at the same time on the open of Aug 13, 2020, the audiobook's publication date. It's returning a nice 24%. for the 7 months it's run so far. FWIW, I don't own any of the stocks in this book, but there are a couple I will be adding to my portfolio. These folks know their stuff! I highly recommend the book. I'll follow up this review in 20 years. Me and Amazon should be still be around.

Wonderful writing and outstanding narration!

I am thoroughly impressed with this book and can't wait to buy the next one from the author. I wouldn't even consider buying another stock or ETF book again because this one has it all. Extremely well organized and special attention to detail. I found myself unable to put my headphones down because this book was just THAT exceptional. I wish I had this book 20 years ago! Consider yourself lucky that you found this book at the moment in time because you have the potential to make 100x what this book is worth. Probably more. Do yourself a favor and listen to this book.

One of the best investing books

One of the best investing books i listened to.

I usually just read articles and do my own research. I came across this book and i said why not. Took a listen and i was impressed. There are lots of great stocks mentioned in this book. I took the initiative to read up on the some of the stocks mentioned and invested in few.

I recommend this book if you are starting out in the stock market

I really like this book as a primer, and even as an intermediate guide to investing. Even at an "advanced" level, it's always good to go back to basics and really remember why you got into investing in the first place. I particularly like the authors description and simple explanation on the differences on Mutual funds, ETFs vs. stocks. 2020 is THE year that those with money (even a little bit) and knowledge are setting themselves up for some serious monetary gains over the coming 5-10 years. Are YOU part of that group, or will you let the chance pass you by? Do yourself a favour, get primed with this book - then go make your fortune! Highly recommended!

This book was very informational and helped me start my investment journey. It has reinforced that researching a company is absolutely necessary before purchasing a company.
