Ten Truths about Santa Claus

The main reason that I wrote this book was to remember and celebrate becoming a Christian fifty years ago. I got saved on December 14th, 1967. That means that this year, 2017, will mark my fiftieth anniversary of having walked with the Lord. It has been a quick, but rewarding, journey for me. So in grateful appreciation for all that He has meant and continues to mean to me, this book has been written as my Christmas present to the Lord.

I am truly grateful that Jesus died on the cross to pay my sin debt. I am truly grateful that He has made His great salvation free to anyone who will come to Him by faith to be saved. I am truly grateful for His indwelling Holy Spirit, who acts as my Comforter and daily guide. These past fifty years have been the best years of my life. So I hope that the Lord will be pleased with my heartfelt Christmas present to Him. I have certainly enjoyed for many years His Christmas present to the whole world. Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

There is one note, however, to be made with respect to the organization of this text before concluding this Introduction. Something that the reader might find useful is boxes throughout that show the different passages that are being referenced at the times and in the places where they are being referenced. That way, he or she will not have to jump all over the place or get into or out of the scriptures to locate a particular reference. Hopefully that inclusion will help the reader in trying to understand the various events and to also quickly put them into their right context. So it is hoped that that addition will make this text easier to read and that the Lord will receive the praise, honor, and glory that He rightfully deserves.
