Great introduction

There was nothing ground breaking in this book but I loved it. A lot of really good reminders for me, and for anyone new to the autism journey, it will be INCREDIBLY helpful! It’s also just nice to hear from a mom who has been through it and come out the other side.

Great resource for understanding children with autism

I believe this is a very good resource for those who might have, or have need to work with children who might or do have autism to any extent. It is a real eye-opener.

This is a very informative resource for every parent of an autistic child. Helpful examples, insights, and how tto prepare for the “relay” of raiding an autistic child.

Very insightful

This book will change your outlook on autism in a positive way! It really gives you a perspective from the child’s point of view.

Interesting and helpful, but badly narrated

The book has many interesting and valid points about parenting or educating children with autism. But the narration is terrible. The equalization is wrong, and the result was that the narration often hurt my ears. And the narrator’s inflection and phrasing was often odd, making it hard to listen and follow where she was in a thought or paragraph. But the most annoying thing by far was the whiny, infantile voice she used when narrating thoughts or words attributed to an autistic child.

I would likely read more books by this author, but I would not listen to more books narrated by this narrator.
