good story!

Loved the story and the relationship. Would have like to see their romance taken further and more depth to it. The narrator was great and made the story easy to follow.

Good story. The narrator was absolutely awesome. His voice had me moving the story so much more.

Enjoyable

Little to short of a listen for me but good. April and Sam go way back... Six years back. He was the one that gave her first opportunity for a real job. She's been his right hand all this time, helped him when he was in his worst and stood by his side. And through all of that she's been lusting after him. Sam hasn't noticed and it isn't until he's new piece on the side/model throws some ugly remarks of April that he notices his feelings for her, but it my be too late. Loved how easy it was too listen.

Cute

Cute story, I like that the characters didn't jump straight into bed with one another. I like the history that was revealed, as well as all the tension both characters endured. No hang ups, and no cliffhangers. This is a perfect book when you're looking for a quick read.

Really Good!

The story is fast and exciting, the writing is so good and the narrator is wonderful. This office romance is hot, steamy and full of action. Loved the hot sex and excellent narration
The author created a great story that's hard to put down. So ver good!!!

An okay read

I have an extra star for this review because the h was a strong, intelligent woman... I never once was annoyed by her weakness or being unreasonable. I didn't warm up to the H throughout the story tho, I found him kind of wishy washy and clueless. Which leads me to the one reason this story would only get two stars from me, it was predictable to me every step of the way. It was just an okay read for me. I know others love the narration, but honestly, it kept me out of the story as I heard the narrator 'reading' the whole time. There was very little acting out the voices and because of that every one sounded the same and I felt as tho my friend was reading to me while I am sick in bed. :) Not a terrible experience, but not a moving one.

Narration gave me a movie like quality . . .

Reid Kerr did an excellent job with narrating this short romance with drama and some intensity. I found the audio to be smooth, clear, and contained variety with diction, tone, and cadence.

April Morgan's comes back to town and he wants reservation for him and his new girlfriend, he not clear on not firing her, bullied in to moving her, finds that he has not really seen her for her, losses her, then kisses her. Sam finds that he has missed a lot of what he truly had. He allowed someone push him to do something he did not want to do. April hears it all and make a decision for herself. Father son have a falling out and April becomes a pawn in their tug of war.
