I loved this book!

Miranda is the perfect mixture of hot and cold , and Tori is the perfect thermostat to regulate her fluctuations.
The character development was on point, which is a lot more rare now that self publishing is so common.
Narration was on point!
This book kept me listening longer than I had time for, pushing its way into my schedule at every turn— and it was totally worth it!

Beautiful Story!

Don’t let the cute cover fool you! This is a poignant and beautiful romance that still has flashes of humor and heaps of steam. Miranda and Tori have an entertaining grumpy/sunshine dynamic that slowly but gorgeously blossoms into a strong and passionate connection as each character grows with the help of community and two adorable little girls: Miranda’s niece Rebel and Tori’s daughter Harley. The path to love is anything but straight for these two, but it is sweet and deeply satisfying.

Quinn Riley’s narrative portrayal of two very different women is lovely: exciting, stirring, and hot in all the right places.

I really lived this book, Miranda’s character is so well developed and really captures what it’s like to be parentified and to have trust issues. Tori is free spirited and such an excellent contrast. I also really loved that there were kiddos from previous relationship etc. very real and relatable. Excellent book.

I have hundreds of sapphic books, and now this IS my absolute favorite book. people, this book is totally worth listening to & you won't be disappointed!!

The characters were very well executed.

I loved this audio book because the characters were not one dimensional. They had everyday ups and downs.

This author knew how to tug at their audiences hearts! The storyline was amazing and kept my attention throughout the whole book . Taking of a rebel is a great read !

I didn't think I was going to like this book

After the first chapter I really thought this was going to be a DNF book. Miranda was really unlikeable and Tori was too head strong about her goals. I'm glad I gave the book a chance because it was really well written and there was some solid character development. Though I feel like the turn around for Miranda happened too fast. Additionally, it felt like the author didn't want to dive into the family issues and just wrote it as a happy ending to wrap it up.
