Um... Yikes!!

I'm currently somewhere in chapter 23. So far in every single chapter in this book, the leading females are out of this world annoyingly stupid. They have no common sense. it's almost offensive this author could give them a little bit of sense. keep in mind this in book 5 or 6 and I had to fast forward through most leading females scenes or throw my device against the wall. BUT IF YOU CAN GET PASS ALL THAT, THE STORIES ARE GOOD.

Such a fantastic series!

Bike lovers beware! The men in this series just keep getting hotter and harder to resist. Especially with Troy Duran’s excellent narration at the helm. I particularly enjoyed the match made with Thorne and Isabelle. A lot of times stubborn woman can come off as annoying and naive but I found Iz to be more of a strong willed stubborn which I enjoyed for Thorne. Must read/listen!!!

What was her accent?!?!

Troy Duran absolutely saved this narration. I have NO idea what accent Jillian was doing? I don't think she knows. Sometimes British, sometimes Australian, sometimes just a made up accent. It ruined so many parts of the story, but I pushed through so I could get to Troy's parts.

🩴Lock the Doors n pull the shades! Overall I loved this book - it drew me in like staring at a car accident ...when I know I shouldn't. I'd like to say if you're into super spicy sexy scenes with unique dangerous characters, intrigue, excitement, angst and did I mention white hot lovin look no further, the MC series by Daphne is your one stop shop amigas! WEHUUU!!!!

👠The very beginning of this book made me waiver because I'm "personally" not into kidnappings... just sayin.
(I get it...Some people are into abduction fetish)

👡I decided to stick with it because I adore this author! D.L is officially my new favorite. Plus how can you go wrong with the dynamic duo ... Troy and Jillian. EKKK and J'adore! Voices like pure spun cotton candy, hand blown by the fantasy fairy n sprinkled on edible mango body oil! (Pass out good!!!!)

🥾Once Throne opened his heart, I started liking his character more. I was really rooting for this couple. Without giving anything away I must say this was a tantalizing & thrilling six hours and 34 minutes. (white knuckling it!) I loved every second and only wanted more! Our leading lady was fierce. (Kudos) Looking forward to the next MC adventure!

Dear god the female narrator should invest in accent lessons or never ever do them again!

Sexy, easygoing read...

Overall, I really loved this book. I would rate it 4.5 if I could because I thought it was wonderful with only some slight critiques. I think one of the most egregious issues in the book occurs in chapter 1, where the author actually uses "boinking" as a synonym for sex. It only happens that one time, but it was enough to make me pause and check if the author is actually 12. For being an MC book, the MC itself was a very small part of the story. The main characters were the daughter of an MC president and a member of a different club assigned to protect her. Other than those associations, there wasn't much about the MCs. There are about 2 mentions of motorcycles in the entire thing. The book would have been the exact same if you replaced "MC" with "Mafia." The ending climax was honestly kind of anti-climactic. The trap works, they catch the bad guy, and live happily ever after. The stakes were set high throughout the book and the ending was a bit of a letdown with how easy it was to avoid danger. The female narrator's Irish accent was not good and her tone was just ok; the male narrator definitely stole the show on this one.

just the right amount of everything

The female voice is not my favorite. Her inflections were off, hesitations at the wrong times and/or for too long.
The plot unfurled in a way that did not give too much away of what was coming next.
I recommend this book for a good read, and the author's other works.
