Way to childish

I'm only on book 1 but it's way to childish. especially for an MC book. "babygirl" is super cringy. narration was too soft. I wouldn't recommend it

Narrator not recommended

Story was ok but I’m only on book 1 and I’m having major issues with the dialect of the male narrator. Not happy to have to pay for books where the narrator sounds like he usually does children’s books.

SERIOUSLY COULD HAVE RATED HIGHER….with different narrators

I have gotten freebies that rocked this three book pack that I paid for, out of the water. I’ve become a bit of a professional MC book reader. I love these books; they have intrigue, humor, lightness and darkness, damsel in distress through real life situations, crime, smut….I love them! So, I figured I’d try this one. How bad could it be?? Ummmm…. While I’m no quitter, therefore, I read the books (or listened)….it was pretty painful. I must say, I actually liked most of the stories, some of them sadly hit home, for me. But good HELL…the narrators??!! 🤦🏻‍♀️The man, who literally had no sexiness and sounded as if he were reading an instruction manual while attempting to poop after being constipated for a month. And then the overly whiny female, who took the situations that she was in and made the female sound almost pathetic. The author did a great job creating the stories…I loved the name “captain” and I think with the right people reading this book, this segment alone could have made the book (bc it was funny) memorable for all of the right reasons and, truly, this could have soared in ratings. Id absolutely love to hear these books read by
Troy Duran and Anastasia Watley. I promise, this would make your ratings skyrocket!

Incredibly painful narration

Both male and female narration is awful. The male sounds more like a constipated accountant than a sexy member of a motorcycle club. The female is a bit better, but very whiny. I found myself laughing at the "spicy" dialog. Cringy at best. I kept listening trying to give the story the benefit of the doubt, but no. It's severely lacking character development, believable story and I didn't feel any kind of connection to any character. Sorry I wasted a credit on this three book set.

Wasted credit on poor narration and dumb writing

Tell me a spicy romance novel for women was written by a man without telling me it was written by a man: “… she moaned as he pressed his erection against her leg…” ummmm, has the author ever had a physically intimate relationship? What woman gets turned on because a man pressed himself against her leg? The dialogue and plot was very awkward and unbelievable. It also ddddrrrraaaaggggsssss on…
Thus, one star.

The performance got two stars only because of the female narrator. She was tolerable. I shut it off after losing interest during the male narrator’s sections. This will probably sounded asinine, but i can’t stand listening to a narrator that has a lisp or a garbled voice.

Don’t waste your credits on this garbage. Audible plus has better books for free. So disappointing!
