Love this series!
Listening to this series is like hanging out with good friends. And Swamp Spook is back to snort out loud funny. Fortune and Carter's relationship has changed, and now the whole town knows about Fortune's previous career. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Simply Awesome, Again

Spooky fun and a murder,too!
Though I have been encouraged to try this series, this book is the first I have read. I loved it! There is so much humor and action, that there is no chance the reader will be bored. The friendships of the characters Drew me right into the middle of their world. As a bonus, the narrator is perfect! She voices each character with the nuances I would have chosen. Such a pleasure to listen to the cadence of her audio. Don't miss it!

Fantastic!
Thoroughly enjoyed this story! I'll definitely be listening to this again and again, just like I reread her books so often. Ms. DeLeon's characters are always spot-on for small-town, south Louisiana. I wish so bad I could make this group a quartet! 😃 The only thing that is the littlest bit aggravating is the mispronunciation of Cajun names. I highly recommend this series!

Fun Romp Through The Bayou
While a fun romp through the bayous in and around Sinful, Louisiana, a few discrepancies niggled as I listened.
Given the locale, shouldn’t Gertie’s last name be pronounce “A-bear” vs. “Hee-bert?” Also, if one would happen to open one’s eyes while submerged in a bayou, the water would be more likely to effect the corneas and not the retinas.
While seemingly small things, they were noticeable enough to impact the listening experience.

As usual I loved this book - the best one yet
This is an outstanding episode of the Miss Fortune series. I just enjoyed it so much. It was funny and a good mystery and we got to see even more of the characters. I really appreciate that Jana DeLeon is diving even deeper into each of them. I hope everybody gets to listen to it.
