Not what i really expected

This was a conglomeration of lots of different anecdotal stories that i saw only tied in by being paranormal events, but did not delve deeply into any of them.

Good

This book had such a great story. The narrator done a great job telling the story! Looking forward to listening to the next book by this author.

Excellent collection of spooky stories from the houses and places of Sussex County New Jersey.Like a long walking tour. Good narration by Katrina Joyner.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

Worst Narrator Ever!

First and foremost, my recommendation for this book is if you read it, read it in print or Kindle. I listened to the audio version, and the narrator completely butchered this book. She read it in the tone of a Kindergarten teacher reading "The Little Engine That Could" to a group of children sitting in a circle. She took a serious, somewhat creepy topic, and turned it into a cartoon work of children's fiction. Not at all what the author intended, I'm sure.

But, I'm reviewing the book, not the inept narrator. The book itself was an interesting collection of paranormal activities that have occurred in Sussex and surrounding areas. The author not only wrote of these events, but also did some historical research to help identify who the entities might have been. An interesting collection to read about, but do NOT get the audio version.

Great subject, questionable narration

I really liked the subject matter, but the narrator really took me out of it.

Loved the different stories! ☺️ I love ghost stories and other beings. Narrator makes the stories come alive!

There are many important information here.

The title of this audiobook caught my attention being I just moved in the area. After listening this audiobook and learning the history of Sussex County and the Mystery and paranormal events I was glued to this audiobook from cover to cover. A great audiobook. I highly recommend this audiobook and would give it ten stars if possible.

Love it

I couldn't stop listening. I was so into the stories and I find myself reaching for my phone charger a lot just to keep listening to this. definitely a must read/listen for someone who loves this genre.
