Loved this Fun Matchmaking Story

I listened to this on Audible and I really enjoyed this book. It was a little harder to follow since it was a virtual voice so it was hard to tell who was who sometimes but I still had a good time listening to it. This was definitely an entertaining book and had me laughing and smiling.

Jake and Jessica are in their forty's and starting to feel like something is missing in life. Both Jake and Jessica are involved in a Forty-something Singles Chat Group where a matchmaking service called Extreme Matchmaking Reform Therapy is being discussed and dismissed. But after reflection, Both Jake and Jessica decide, unbeknownst to the other, to apply to the matchmaking service.

Jake decides to go on a vacation with the guys to Grand Cayman. Jessica is going on a girls trip to Jamaica. Some how these two get stranded together in a small airport then get left behind when there wasn't enough room for them on the buses. Is this all part of some weird plan? Is it fate?

This was such a cute story and I had such a great time getting to know these characters. I can't wait to read more books in this series. I would definitely recommend this book. Kimberly Krey you wrote another amazing read and I can't wait to see what you write next!!!

The story was implausible, but delightful. I definitely smiled while listening. Cute.

it was very difficult to keep track of who was "speaking." The story would make a good Holiday TV movie. I'll recommend the book but not in this audible format.

Narrator isn’t great

I prefer books to be narrated by people that actually act out the words and perform the character well enough that I feel like I’m listening to a movie instead of a book,
This narration is like I was in the hospital and I asked one of the nurses to read to me. There is no change of voice between characters. It all blends together. There is hardly any inflection in the words. It’s pretty dead pan.
I quickly lost interest in what would have been a better book had I read it myself, or the audiobook was performed by professionals. I don’t recommend it and will avoid this narrator in the future.
