Excellent!
I've been waiting two years for this book! lol Viktor is one of my favorite characters in Ken Lange's Nine Realms Saga. Each series is fantastic, but I think the Warden Global series is my favorite. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for the author to keep all these different series separate, but interconnected. Another great book and I'm looking forward to the next, whichever series it is. And as always, great narration by Andrew Pond.

So good!
Anyone who has read my reviews of any of the Nine Realms Saga before knows I love the interwoven plotlines, despite the author writing each series able to stand on its own. It's impressive. I had already read this book as an ebook, because I was greedy for more, but Pond really nailed the human aspect. Reading the ebooks, you don't really get that Batiste (sp?) is Russian, or that a bunch of characters have southern, Creole, British, or hybrid accents. Lange has done something really special with these books, combining age-old mythologies and pantheons into a cohesive and believable story, while still maintaining social sensitivity. As my dad would say, it's wicked good.
