It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Very sad life.... but great book
What a sad life, full of tragic President Lincoln had lived. This book was very easy to understand, filled with important facts, and very straight to the point. A great book for anyone looking learn about Abe Lincoln's life from childhood until the sad day he was assassinated. I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook, and will now look forward to more Lincoln literature.

Nice short biography of Lincoln
I am in the process of listening to all the presidents biography's. This is very good if you want the short version, however I will look for a more detailed version of his life.
