So ecstatic for another release in this series!!

Ohhh how Wilde made my skin crawl at the beginning of the book!! Alpha-hole is an understatement. I wanted to hug Rayne and tell her she is worth so much more. She may be the runt but please be clear that she is not weak. I loved watching Wilde’s feeling naturally become protective and possessive of Rayne and his confusion as he tried to deny them. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. I absolutely couldn’t stop listening!! Sooo good!!

Kai and Wen’s narration really takes an already exceptional book to the next level. The gruffness of Kai’s voice gave Wilde a savage edge that was addicting and Wen completely captured Ryan’s’s sassiness. The perfect combo for this book!

Enjoyed the Narration

Audiobook Review: 8/17/23
I listened to the audiobook. I enjoyed the narration and think it did a lot to enhance the story. When Wilde was being an alpha hole, it came across with strength. As he mellowed toward Rayne, there was a stronger sense of his commitment.

I had some hesitation about reading this book because I tend to steer clear of high school/college romances as well as enemy to lover tropes. This one turned out to be pretty good.

Rayne's mother and step-father were pretty useless. Rayne's life gave off serious Cinderella vibes. It didn't seem like her mother was mean, she seemed more weak and unsupportive. I never got the sense that she didn't live Rayne the best way she knew how.

Wilde started out as a real wolfhole. It did add a nice twist to see him gradually turn his behavior around. I also liked that it served to help Rayne. I suppose that is one thing about the high school/college scenario, it is where many people start to figure out who they are and who they want to be.

This turned out to be a sweet, steamy romance with a hint of suspense. I'm glad Rayne and Wilde got their HEA in the end.

Great!!!

No parenting awards given for this couple's parents!!!! Wilde was just that- "wild". He lived up to his name. He and Rayne were oil and water on the surface, but beneath they meshed perfectly. The sexual chemistry fueled this relationship and had no end in sight. Both characters showed great growth by the end of the story. There was a twist at the end, but it was remedied and the story moved to a natural conclusion. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. I highly recommend this book.

An amazing book filled with tension & fiery sparks

Rayne and Logan's story was amazing. I loved the tension that blazed between these two and oh, the sparks were simply sizzling. My heart ached so badly for Rayne and while at the start I desperately wanted to smack Logan multiple times, my heart also ached quite a bit for him.In the end their romance gave me some mega feels and left me feeling swooning. Just be prepared for all the drama, raw emotions, steamy heat, excitement, and twists that will hit you along the way. The duel narration on this book was wonderful. Both narrators gave stellar performances that made getting into and becoming fully invested in these characters and their story easy.

Narration wasn't what I imagined

I know it's not the authors fault as I've read this in book form but both narrators missed the mark on this one for me.
