Cliffhanger Alert!

I received this audio book and was pretty happy, because I previouslyh read the book a while ago. The narration was pretty good. Being honest, sometimes when the female narrator read the male parts, it took me out of the moment. It didn't happen with each male scene she narrated, just a few. I think it was the scenes where Mando was supposed to be really tough and domineering. I expected a certain level of bass to his voice that didn't come across.

Fair warning. This book ends in a cliffhanger. A scene that flows from sweetly romantic to OMG!

Armando and Hannah made an interesting couple. She had empathic tendencies, and he believed he had no feelings at all. It was almost like Mando was walking around in a daze until he fell into Hannah's life.

There were many steamy scenes along with those sweetly romantic scenes I mentioned before. I didn't expect to see those moments for some reason.

I am also not liking Hannah's friend Josie. There was something I didn't trust about her from the beginning. She seemed extremely sus.

As Mando and Hannah's relationship evolved, it only made me wonder how would it survive? Where do they go from here? What concessions will have to be made if they decide to stay together? Who is after Mando, and why? I guess we just have to stay tuned.

OMG!

This book by Renee Rose and Alta Hensley was fantastic. Reading it was great but when it is narrated by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott, they just blew it out of the water! These two do such a good job at anything they narrate. I love their voices and how they bring the story to life! Just amazing!

Intensely Breathtaking!

This book was intensely breathtaking! A sinfully seductive blend of emotions, drama, situations, action, tension, suspense and steam fuels book one of Hannah and Mando's decadently tempting romance. Whew!! It is best to have a cold beverage handy because these two henerate an inferno of scorching heat. There is a lush underlying layer of sweetness though between these two that you can't help feeling though and personally I was getting a super mega meant to be vibe off of them. I fell hard and fast for these two and I'm betting you will too. As this is book one of two, there is a cliffy and OMG!!!! It is a VERY INTENSE one that is definitely going to leave your heart racing as you anxiously wait to find out what happens. The narrators gave truly amazing performances that helped to really pull me in and keep me fully immersed in this tantalizing book.

Explosive

This collab was explosive! I fell in love with Armando and Hannah right from the get go. Mafia, drama, danger, intense, steam nail biting good. I need more from these two authors.

A rough start

I liked how Armando's heart opened up bit by bit and came alive by being with Hannah. Their relationship was like walking a tightrope and learning to trust. Mando has a target on his back from who and will he survive??? Heat and suspense kept me engaged and invested. Looking forward to book two. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

Mafia smut

I really like the narrators but I felt like there was not much of a story here. It was
Depressed male meets female and then sex, sex, sex..: Did I pay for this?!
