Loved the story

loved the story, the female narrator could have been better. fine you want more words

Fantastic read!

This was a great read! I absolutely loved it and it pulled me in from beginning to end. This is the 2nd book in the series and I would highly recommend reading the first book prior to this one. It really lets you get to know the characters and some of their backstory and how they got to where they are now. We are still getting to know Tess's history and what she has been through to get her to where she is now. In this one, we get to know more about her uncle. I loved watching Tess and Shade coming back together and working things out. Tess is giving him a second chance and they are working on trust again. Shade knows he messed up but he was never actively turning her in though it is taking her a little bit of time to believe that though she is seeing it as more likely now. Tess is also dealing with the fact that Shade worked as a bounty hunter. I loved watching them actually work through the issues as they popped up and continue to build a strong base. This story has plenty of action and intrigue as they are dealing with trying to rescue their friend who was taken by the Overseer as well as working for the rebels and figuring out what to do about her blood and the uncle situation of wanting/needing her blood and keeping her secret. There is more going on with her Uncle and this time we get more information on that. The story was really engaging and had me fully connected the entire time. I really truly enjoyed this one and I can't wait for the next one! I really need it to see what is going to happen next.
The narrators did a fantastic job with the story and bringing it to life. I loved that this time we got both narrators this time with Shade playing a larger role. It added to the story this time.

I really enjoyed the story and romance, although I enjoyed this author's first series a lot more.

Absolutely Love this Series!!!

World building at its best. Reminds me of Firefly a short lived and much loved sci-fi series. This is much like in terms of a motley crew and a great fun adventure with characters to love. The narrator is fantastic- her voice brings the story to life. I absolutely can’t wait till the next one is out!!!

Starbreaker is the second installment of Amanda Bouchet’s Endeavor trilogy (yes, you need to read book one Nightchaser first). Starbreaker picks up shortly after the events of book one end and brings us deeper into the world of the Nightchaser’s, the Dark Watch and the universe as a whole. We learn a great deal more about Tess and her history. We also learn a lot more about the events that have brought them to where they are today and the battle that has to be fought soon.

This was a great follow up to Nightchaser. I really enjoyed reading this book and getting back with these characters. Amanda does a great job of making you fall in love with each of her characters. Tess and Shade are a great team and I am looking forward to seeing them grow. There is action, excitement, surprises, suspense and love all wrapped up in this story.

If Jax doesn’t get off his duff soon I might have to jump into the story and slap him.

I am so excited for the final book in this trilogy. I can’t wait to see how everything turns out. If you are a SciFi fan or a fan of Amanda Bouchet’s Kingmaker Series you need to get this series!!

Starbreaker

I'm really enjoying this series! Tess and Shade are trying to get their relationship figured out. Then an old boyfriend shows up! Then there are rebels, heists, battles! Great characters and world building by Amanda Bouchet in this series. Enjoyed the narrator too!

such potential

this is the second book in the series... and it's ridiculously disappointing ending... I mean I don't even know how to say this but...I guess I'm trying to think of a worse way to end the book and I can't.... first book was great... but the second book totally ruined it for me.
