The narrators accents are muddled at best, perhaps on purpose, perhaps by accident, but it can make him difficult to follow at times. That being said it won't prevent me from getting other books in the series. I only wish they had produced an unabridged collection.

My favorite of the X-wing books. REALLY hoping they do an unabridged version. Finally going through and buying/listening to all the abridged ones after the recent Rogue Squadron unabridged version release. This has always been my favorite series in the EU.

it doesn't matter whether you are a casual Star Wars fan or a die hard, these adventures of rogue squadron will definitely have you on the edge of your seat and enjoying every single moment of their space battles, their personal trials and tribulations, and also there never-ending fight against the empire.

The first X-Wing novel and possibly first star wars Novel read by Anthony heald an the first with high quality sound effects and score. Great starting point.. Hope someday to have Unabridged X-Wing stories

The narration was not too bad, sound effects were ok, but bits of the book were missing. Small sections of the story were not narrated into the audio book
