Churo The Hutt
I’ll always enjoy an adventure in the galaxy far far away, especially when it’s the high republic. But this story is exceedingly special to me because of the standout new character Churo. A young huttling with a lot to prove. You’ll love this adventure to a new planet with new friends and even some familiar faces.

Best Middle Grade High Republic Novel
IMHO, this is the best of the middle grade High Republic novels. The story is well-paced and is directly connected to the overall storyline. And, it introduces a fantastic new character, Churro, a young Hutt who likes his science and greenhouse experiments and doesn’t conform to the typical Hutt ways. I actually got a bit choked up by the way his story concludes. The only negative for me was the narration, which I felt didn’t capture well the different characters. I think a female narrator might have been better considering how many higher-pitch youngling voices had to be created.

Good and surprisingly dark middle-grade High Republic story. Some great new characters from interesting backgrounds, and some major developments that could have significant impact on the rest of this final High Republic phase.
