All hail Hondo!
Hondo is one of my favorite characters and Iim Cummings knocks it out of the park. Such a fun book! Laugh out loud in places. Great action sequences! Highly recommended for all ages!!

Jim Cummings is a vocal God
Funny story made only better by the vocal god, also known as your childhood, Jim Cummings (voices of characters such as Darkwing Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Pete, Dr Robotnik, and so many more.) His Star Wars character from the animated series Clone Wars and Rebels is always fun and it's so great to have this collection of 3 short tales of the great pirate Hondo Ohnaka and his encounters (and eventual theft) of the Millennium Falcon.

True to Character
Although written for a younger audience and somewhat silly at times the style perfectly captures the Hondo Onaka character. The narration by Jim Cummings is top three favorite audiobook readings and does a surprising faithful Han Solo Impression. I purchased this because of the connection to Batuu which is only a small portion of the narrative but the narration had me hooked from start to finish.

More Hondo, please.
I would gladly listen to Hondo (at least as voiced by Jim Cummings) tell a great many tales. While some of the star wars books I've listened to in recent years have been slightly painfully earnest - this book captures the fun of Star Wars better than anything I've heard in a while.
Heck - I'd enjoy hearing Hondo's retelling of other stories (Prequels please!) just to get them in this voice and vibe.
And to the people complaining about the "not so great" voices for Chewie and Han - I'm pretty sure that was part of the point. Cummings wasn't doing a "bad impression" - he was doing an excellent impression of Hondo not even trying to do a convincing impression of them.

wonderful! Get this book!
I can't say enough about this book. The story was well written and very entertaining. Not a dull or slow spot in it. Jim Cummings does a fantastic job with the narration. one of my new favorites!

IT’S HONDO
If you love Hondo in the Clone Wars or Rebels you will love this book. The book is mostly Hondo retelling a few of his past adventures the only way Hondo can. Having Jim Cummings come back to narrate the book is the best thing for any Hondo fan and makes the audiobook a thousand times worth the cost.
