This is a fun book!
The authors has created a mix of different characters bent in their own special way.
Her family is like nothing I have encountered before.
Ms. Richardson's world is filled with the supernatural who she sees as just living the life under the noses of unaware humans.
There is a lot of satire to laugh at.
It's a great book. I look forward to buying the series!

A few things bothered me.
I don’t leave reviews very often. The narrator was great. But there was a few things in the story and the deeper you got into the story it bothered me more. I know it’s just a story, but all witches are considered in the demon line. And pagan gods are portrayed as evil. With angels, of course being the heroes. If I would’ve known those details, I probably wouldn’t have wasted a credit on it. And of course, ever since Amazon took over you can’t return books quite as easily as before. So I just wanted to put that warning out there for anyone who is pagan maybe it wouldn’t bother you, but it bothered me just a little bit. Other than that, I do have to say the story is ok but I definitely will not be going on to the next book.
