I have been enjoying the Kat Dubois chronicles since stumbling onto the Ink Witch on YouTube. Kat is finally admitting her feelings for Nik, thank goodness! I'm so emotionally involved to the point of tears by the end of this book! I didn't realize I was holding my breath until Julia Whelan said, "The end." I thank you very much for this series! I loved Kat when I read the Echo Trilogy & I am so excited that she has her own series. I will say, I strongly suggest reading the Echo Trilogy before starting this series. It will give you some great backstory before diving into this own.
Kat is still battling against the results of what the Ouroboros Corporation has done. This time it is working to find a way to save all the humans from the Cascade Virus.
Kat is bound and determined to do whatever she can to save the humans, even if she had to go one at a time. This book has a whole lot of new information given that I have a feeling will come up again later on. th
I can’t wait to see where this series goes next.

Kat is just so unlikable!
I understand that they are trying to make her a believable teenager, but teenagers aren't this stupid and selfish all the time.
