From the end of one century to the beginning of another, Margaret Netherby has lived a life full of adventure, joy, heartache, and disappointment. In this collection of poetry, Netherby shares a lyrical glimpse into her life's journey spanning over 40 years as she attempted to make sense of confusion, reconcile emotions, appreciate wonder and beauty, embrace happy moments, and accept downturns with grace.
Largely self-taught, Netherby offers free verse and haiku poemssome based on her studies of Nichiren Buddhismthat shine a light on a variety of emotions including love, grief, desire, and happiness as well as the endless beauty of nature, unconditional love of family, and comfort associated with Mystic Law.
Some of My Seasons is a collection of poems that reflects one womn'sa journey through life as she learns, loves, and comes to understand her special purpose.
