David Allen Pratt has been entertaining people on the radio for 32 years, and nearly all 32 years have been spent on the air in South Jersey. Dave has always loved the Jersey shore, and he has been lucky enough to be able to ply his trade exactly where he always wanted to be.
Dave has kept a journal for 41 years, and shares with us his personal life, including his childhood, his very unique family, his string of jobs he held before getting that big break, and his most fun stories and memories from his time on the radio.
This is not only a book about working in radio, it’s a book about perseverance. It’s about never giving up on yourself. It’s about following your dream, no matter what. As you will hear, it wasn’t easy for Dave to get to where he was going. There were many bumps and potholes along the way, but Dave made the best of it, and wants every person listening to this to know that whatever they really want to do in life, it is possible.
