Good series, but each book made me want a little more of the story. The books also could be read as stand alone because they really didn’t tie into each other as most do.

All Too Short
these would be described best as short stories instead of novels. Everything is too fast and too short. The narration is okay. some words were mispronounced and the pauses were in weird places. but the stories in and of themselves I couldn't stand. I stopped listening after book 2 because I just wasn't getting the closure I needed or deserved from books one and two. if you listen...don't get your hopes up. the characters are two dimensional and lack depth. these have a beginning, middle and end but no substance.

Started out promising, but hard to finish
I struggled with this one. Narrator was inexperienced but speeding it up to 1:10 helped.
The story idea was good, but by book 4 or 5 I was thoroughly irritated with the heroines.I rarely use TSTL as a descriptor, but between the constant panic attacks and fainting and the complete lack of common sense that was all I could think of.
The idea was solid, but the execution was painful.

Page Turner
Each story had strong characters with mysteries and intrigue throughout each one. I enjoyed the journey through them. Thank you Katie Wyatt & Brenda Clemmons for sharing your characters with me. Performances by Monica Reed were superb! All three ladies are talented indeed!

Awkward pauses
Performance had awkward pauses that I found to be distracting and made it difficult to get into the story. Accents used in the performance did not seem to fit the location that the story took place. Didn’t find it distracting enough not to finish the listen, but will not be on my list to re-listen.
