I might not have had as much information about Bisskiss and Zayn going into this and I may not know what the secret to Talia's origin is yet, but I genuinely enjoyed the premise of this book. The world building is amazing and so colorful when it comes to creatures! There is a mixture of fantasy and realism of the human world all wrapped up into one and it does not disappoint!
I love the fact that no matter what Zayn wanted for himself, he always tries to put Talia first and worries about what was best for her safety before he ever acknowledges his feelings for her. I can tell after reading this prequel that the Gilded Blood series is going to be an amazing adventure for this little trio and I can't wait to go on it with them!
