excellent

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.

hard to follow

this book was hard for me to follow in the beginning and when I finally caught up it was over. I think that there should be a second one because it kinda left off as not finished

Slightly Underwhelming

Let me preface this by saying I read this book without having read Shattered Innocence but I don't feel as if I missed anything important. The backstory of Lo and her pure friendship with Jessie are the most touching parts of all. There are enough hints and flashbacks along the way, that make everything clear. That having been said, I think the better part of this story is very good, but it is cheated by an ending that is too short and underwhelming. Where there is a love story, followed by a tragic end to the conflict, there isn't enough time spent experiencing happiness with Jessica and Nicholas to allow me to feel their HEA. It's a good book, but it could have been so much better with a satisfying ending.
The narration was another issue that I rarely encounter with an audiobook. The narrator didn't change tone, inflection or pace with the different characters and I wasn't able to tell them apart.

Wow Wow what an Audio

This is my first from this author but not my first from the narrator
Alexis wrote this story that will grab your heart and squeeze it . Love the plot , how you think it will play out but you get lots of surprises.
Logan did an amazing work narrating this story . His voice was clear. He was able to play all the parts perfectly . You can tell by his voice what characters were what .

Hero is Damon. Heroine is Jessie
It starts out as Damon being undercover to bring down an escort business. That is where Damon meets Jessie. Jessie works in the business. Both Jessie and Damon fall for each other . Imagine the schock and betrayal Jessie feels once she finds out Damon was undercover .
Jessie starts a new life but her mind is always on Damon .
Damon had to do something to keep him alive so he can unload his heart and reasons to Jessie.
Grab it and see what Damon did , does it work out between them

A Second Chance Romance

The H is under witness protection but still watches over the h as he hides from the mafia. They have to avoid being found while he proves to her that he really loves her despite the fact they fell in love when he was undercover under an alias. Who was the person the h fell in love with and will she be able to decide before the mafia catches up with them? This story was much more intense than the normal Alpha male stories. I loved the action and the viewpoints.
