The story itself is interesting and an easy read, but it could use some serious editing. The writer is constantly repeating themselves and don't get me started on the word "however", which keeps cropping up every 5 minutes.

THE SHADOW REALMS series is BLOODY BRILLIANT & MOST DEF A MUST "HEAR!" (or would that be a "must listen?" 🤔)
BKD's writing as usual is TOP NOTCH & the narrator, Meg Price has such brilliant acting skills, secondary to those of the wonderfulTavia Gilbert!
I listened to book#1 in 1 day!
For this book (#2) i did the same & I'm typing this very quickly bc I NEED to start book #3!!!
5 STARS HANDS DOWN!

Another good one!
I loved BKD's series Road to Hell, so I tried out this series and it's just as good. Super hot and alpha mc and strong female lead. I liked this book even better than the first. loved the romance between the two main characters. On to the next one.
