Great Historical Novel
Very much enjoyed this book based out of my current state of Colorado. Great characters, strong descriptions of the time period and a fun storyline created a great book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

engaging and based on some true characters
This is a well written novel compelling me to read more by this author. The frontier stories of settling of the west "hook" me in instantly, Not being from the western part of the country, I enjoy learning so much from the earliest days of the settlements. The research is well done. I am happy to recommend this author who is new to me.

Great story, narration has a lot to be desired
This was a nice story and it was very well written. I was very disappointed in the narration by Virtual voice. The story had some very emotional parts and there was absolutely no emotion in the virtual voice, which made me wonder if I was imagining the emotion. First and last book I will spend money on.

Awful virtual voice
I'll be sure to look at narration from nowon before buying audible books. the virtual voice narration is awful. pronunciation is often off, and tone/inflection always incorrect!
