Excellent Read

initially, when I started reading/listening to the book, I was really getting into it. Then it seem to switch over to a different story. I was a bit confused feeling that I might’ve missed some thing but halfway through it finally connected. The beginning was the introduction of how the story would end. I can tell you that I have tears in my eyes as it’s such a loving story it doesn’t matter if you’re born or blessed with a child, they could be equally loved.

Entertaining story

This is a good book for fans of Catherine Ryan Hyde as it has similar elements to some of Hyde’s most popular works. The author smoothly creates interesting characters tasked with navigating trying events.

Heartwarming

this is a story of a woman who doesn't want to have children. She is a beautiful woman who could have married many times but her decidion to not have kids keeps her single. finally at 58 marries and 21 days later he dies. His grandson shows up after the death of his parents. She loves and realizes what she missed. The twists and turns of this book will keep you going and the surprise ending is one you won't guess. I love this book and highly recommend this book.

Unexpected

Good book, New author for me, and would read her again. Ending was unexpected. Good.

Rambling

The end was worth it after all but I was confused a few times trying to keep up with all of the characters and how they fit together. I’ll be thinking about this one for a while.

Great story

A really wonderful story. Kept me interested and surprised. The narration is very difficult to listen to. It would be much better read and not listened to. First time with this author. Will look for more by her.

Foul

The narrator is very good. The story is terrible! I'm not sure what the point of this storyline is other than to show how selfish the women in it are. The language becomes offensive, and the historical attributes aren't really there. I will not be finishing this book.
