So needed!
This audiobook is so needed for so many families; learning to be proactive in self-regulation in kids is so important! In this book, you will learn how you can help support your child's development in self-regulations, how to help them build self-discipline, some much-needed strategies for self-soothing, and managing those negative emotions. These authors did an amazing job, I felt totally supported as I listened and learned from this book!

Developing Mindful Children
There's so much out there for adults, but not as much that focuses on raising kids with solid mental health. Yet, to be a kid these days is more stressful than ever. They have so much more to deal with than when their parents were growing up. I like the term self-regulation, and it reminds me of being mindful but is likely more easily understood. Regulating emotions and their thoughts empowers your children. We need to work on our kids mental health before they are grown up and this book will certainly help.

A Perfect Guide for Parents.
I have no words to explain how much I loved this book. It was very helpful for me. It gives all the strategies for raising kids that I have been looking for. Being a single parent is very difficult, to raise and teach your kids and manage work alone. This audiobook helped me master a few techniques to teach kids, like accepting discomfort, moving on with life, and dealing with emotions. Hats off to the author for explaining this topic and narrator too for outstanding delivery. I highly recommend this book to all parents.

Amazing and Practical Information!
This book is absolutely amazing ! I worked in the social work field for years and wish I had this book to give to all of my foster parents ! The information and techniques provided in this book are life changing in raising children.
The author details how self regulation helps children recognize the source of their problems and, in turn, allows them to control impulsive behaviors. The goal is inner peace, which is absolutely priceless.
The author also states that humans start developing regulatory skills at the age of 3. As parents, we must demonstrate these skills for our children earth on. The author also stresses that listening to our kids and empathizing with their feelings helps children feel respected and valued.
I was excited to learn that I’ve already been practicing some of these techniques with my 9 year old! The author lists methods to help kids regulate their emotions. A few that stood out;
1. Help the kids Develop emotional intelligence by helping them identify emotions , identify reasons behind them, solve problems and act appropriately.
2. Ask child what are you Feeling right now ? Shift from behaviors to the meaning behind it.
Praise kids for their efforts and hard work as opposed to natural abilities.
3. Teach optimism
4. Teach emotional intelligence
5. Teach self discipline
This book was just amazing from start to finish! I give it a 2 thumbs up!

Great book on parenting
I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. This seems to be a perfect gift for my sister who is having issues with dealing her kids. The author nicely presents how the parents can emotionally understand their kids and help them deal with their anxiety, stress and emotions. The parenting strategies outlined towards the end are excellent. Recommend this book to any parent who would like to better understand their kids, bond with them and help them grow.
