Definitely worth a try

I don't usually care for short ( anything under 8 hours) romance stories. Because of the time constraints the story usually has to move fast. I did not feel that way with this story. It began as a quick hook-up and grew from there. I have read other things from Elle Kennedy and she is a gifted author. Perhaps that's what made me take a chance and listen to a novella. I'm glad I did.

Adorable and steamy!

This story is delightful and while it might be short it’s packed with personality, fascinating characters, steam and an adorable storyline that I enjoyed very much. I listened to the audiobook version and I loved the narration performance of Stella Hunter!

This was a fun, sexy quick read. I loved that the heroine knew exactly what she wanted and when confronted with her fears was able to face them head on.

This was a great lighthearted story to read/listen to over lunch, coffee or between full length novels.

Great Story Line

Loved this! Not at all what I thought when I picked this one. Would love to hear more like this one!! Amelia and Dirk were priceless.

This book was super cute but the blurb was VERY VERY misleading. I had to go searching through the reviews to figure out if where it leads you think is ACTUALLY what happens.

It’s NOT, BUT you don’t find out the twist until the end of chapter five and the book is only ten chapters long lol

Cute story

This was a cute and fun story! Emilia is maid of honor in her best friend's wedding and has shown up a day early and is looking to maybe find someone for the night. She and her friend have not spent a lot of time together in recent years so she hasn't met the groom or knows much about him. She ends up matching with someone on a hookup app and they seem to be on the same page and in the same bar. They have one heck of a night and while Dirk seems to want more with her, she sneaks out not expecting to see him again and to focus on being a great maid of honor and there for her best friend and the wedding stuff for the rest of the weekend. That is, until the next morning when she is meets up with her friend and it looks like she had a hookup with the groom! This one is a shorter, faster read and was a lot of fun. I enjoyed watching Emilia and how she went about trying to handle the whole situation afterwards. Dirk definitely has his work cut out for him as well in getting Emilia to give him a shot. There is no cheating in this story.

Would have loved for it to be longer. Really liked both characters but well worth reading as it is.
