Elle First Hockey Score

This was the stepping stone of the journey of my fav hockey series. I love how the love story developed over the novel while still having their own lives and problems that get resolved. She has a good way of not making the storyline boring. You can definitely tell her sense of humor only grew overtime like crossing the love/intimacy bridge. The story was definitely giving smart miss independent heart melts over the cocky hockey players ice-y heart of gold. I felt bad for nice guy never getting the girl kind of cliche like poor Doug but at least she was honest with the breakup. The whole rumor of losing games on purpose and cheating was such a good plot but I totally saw that betrayal coming because it was obvious without being too obvious.

Cute story

A nice, lighthearted hockey romance. Since it was one narrator it was hard to follow the shifts in perspective sometimes but overall very cute.

Great!!

She has definitely grown as a writer, but I really enjoyed this! And the reader did an amazing job doing both parts!

I love this story!
I loved this story that Elle Kennedy wrote and I hope she makes a whole universe based on this story line! it was great!

Good steamy scenes, surprisingly interesting story

Hot and heavy right off the bat with good description and great performance by the narrator. I was not super interested in the story at the beginning, but by the end I was fully invested in the unfolding scandal

Not My Jam

I struggle with audio books that have only 1 narrator. It's hard to know which part they're reading. There weren't any names at the beginning of the chapter which made it a struggle to know who was talking. The story wasn't bad, but I felt lost through enough of it that I couldn't engage with it.

Love all of Elle Kennedy books.
This is one of the shortest books I’ve read from her. But like I said before love all her books.

I'm a sucker for anything Elle Kennedy. She once again pulled on all of my heart strings. hockey + love + some twist and turns.

Not great

Definitely not what I am used to from Elle Kennedy. The good news is she has definitely grown as a writer when comparing this book to her more recent releases.

Boring

I don’t like leaving books unfinished, so I was so happy when I finally finished this one. It did not give me that I can’t wait to know what happens next fee. Elle Kennedy definitely grew as a writer. I’m glad I at least have a point of reference for her now.
